Construction and artificial intelligence, in the same team
Andreu comes from data and artificial intelligence; Nizar, from architecture and construction. From Girona, we're laying the data foundations the construction industry needs.
How it started
A conversation between two friends
Arkvia started the way many good ideas do: two friends talking about their work, one from the construction site and the other from artificial intelligence.
Nizar described how things work at a construction company: documents scattered across folders, emails and phones, and hours spent hunting for the right version. Andreu described what artificial intelligence can already do with organised information: answer in seconds and say where every piece of data comes from.
Why had such a powerful technology barely reached construction? Because no artificial intelligence works on disorganised documents, without versions or permissions. Before the chatbot, you need the infrastructure.
That's how Arkvia was born: every document under its client and its project, with permissions and expiry dates, and on top of that a chatbot that answers questions and cites its sources. So that a construction company can work in a more organised and productive way, and use artificial intelligence with the same confidence it has in its drawings.

Engineering physicist, certified by Anthropic as a Claude Certified Architect. He designs Arkvia's artificial intelligence to cite its sources, never make up data and respect who can see each document.

Nizar Stitou El Mesbahi
Co-founder
Final-year Architecture student with experience working at construction companies. He brings the view from the site: how the work really gets done, which documents matter and where time gets lost.
